A Framework for Business Educators: Leading Conversations about Race

Discussing race and diversity in the classroom can be uncomfortable and overwhelming, especially for those unsure where to begin or how to start. To that end, Professor Stephanie Creary, Associate Professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, provides a framework for business educators for leading classroom conversations about race and equity. Professor Creary shares her own experience of overcoming discomfort in the classroom, and provides a helpful acronym (RACE) to guide educators on how to have open, meaningful discussions about race in the classroom.
