Jane Austen as Feminist Subversion

Using the writing of Jane Austen as an inspiration to subvert these restrictions, the two young women decide to create their own identities and situate their beliefs within their culture. In the same episode, a war reporter from Pakistan also uses Jane Austen to better understand her identity within her own family.
