Gendered Dimensions of Climate Change

The Climate Crisis: Gendered Impacts, Women’s Agency, and Feminist Analyses

The Consortium on Gender, Security, and Human Rights released their 2020 bibliography of the most impactful resources that discuss the intersectional elements of climate change and global gender issues. While this specific report focuses on eco-feminist perspectives on the climate crisis, the Consortium hosts a litany of other resources that span the intersections of art, global health, infrastructure, queer studies, real estate, and more. These can be found on the Consortium website and in a link that can be found on page 2 of the report. This particular Consortium spans the topics of women's agency in climate decision making, the gendered impacts of the crisis, how gender factors into climate debates, feminist approaches to critical climate studies, and other, non-academic, resources that may be useful for your syllabus.
