Creating Inclusive Classrooms in Global Higher Education

In recognition of December 3 as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Tecnológico de Monterrey and NYU co-hosted a panel discussion that centered on reimagining inclusive spaces for community members with disabilities, with an emphasis on global higher education contexts. Participants included from the Tecnológico de Monterrey; Inés Sáenz: Vice President of Inclusion, Social Impact, and Sustainability; Cristina Reynaga: Research Professor specializing in Inclusive Education in Science; Maryangel García-Ramos: Diversity and Inclusion Office Leader, NYU; Lisa Coleman: Senior Vice President for Global Inclusion and Strategic Innovation, NYU; Kitty Bridges: Associate Vice President for Digital Accessibility and IT Compliance; and María Rosa Brea: Clinical Associate Professor, Director of the Bilingual Extension Program in the Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders, NYU.
