NYU Entrepreneurial Institute Presents the Female Founders Forum 2024

Women are massively under-represented in venture-backed entrepreneurs and investors – how do we narrow the gender gap? On Friday, March 29, the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute will bring together founders, investors, and community members for a half-day of conversation about challenges and breakthroughs women face in the venture capital world and discussions about how to build a new road to equity in VC.

The Female Founders Forum 2024 will also promote networking opportunities in pursuit of expanding opportunities and community building for current and future founders.

One centerpiece talk that will take place during the forum is “Women in VC Panel: Building the Road to Equity” with panelists Beatriz Franco, Managing Partner of Vita Vera Ventures; Sabriya Stukes, Partner at SOSV and Chief Scientific Officer of IndieBio; Roslyn Jin, Associate Partner at Antler; and Deborah Zajac, Managing Director at Touchdown Ventures. The panel will be moderated by Emily Wazlak, Director of Entrepreneurship and VC Program at NYU Law.

There will also be a presentation from keynote speaker Peggy Yu Yu, Co-Founder and Executive Chairwoman of Dangdang.com, a pioneering e-commerce startup in China.

The NYU Female Founders Forum will take place at the NYU Kimmel Center from 12:45 pm to 6 pm (EST). You can RSVP and find more information in this link
