NYU professors Doris F. Chang and Linda Lausell Bryant will offer faculty training in antiracist pedagogy and share techniques for creating an inclusive learning space.
During their talk, they will provide an overview of skills, such as promoting faculty knowledge and self-awareness of how their identity shapes how they teach and students’ responses, interrogating how power structures manifest themselves in the classroom, navigating discussions on racism and identity, and creating more equitable learning spaces for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) students.
Register here for the event that will take place on February 27 at 1 p.m. over Zoom.
